I moved the poll to the thread regarding the How-To's question, and am holding an event the 16th, of March for anointing the Blood-Guard and explaining the importance of their role and what their responsibilities will be with the IC and OOC rank given. All Blood-Guard will be contacted prior to the event to give them time to prepare and ready themselves for the ceremony. It will be held in a location that will be revealed on the day of the event and I will most likely ask a couple high ranking members to assist with the ceremony.

Blood-Guard is likened to a subofficer, they are given limited officer responsibilities and abilities within the ranks, and will be held responsible for those they are placed to work with as a personal body guard. Any harm comes to their ward/liege while under their watch, then they will have been proven unfit for duty and demoted to a regular rank. All Blood-Guard will be sworn in, and begin their journey in their duty beginning the 16th.
