Recruitment for this guild has been as slow as syrup, but within good reasoning. We actively seek involved roleplayers, fleshed out background-written-indepth given characters to join us. Not to say the few folks we have aren't enough, but activity is always a plus! Most of the officers are well aware that my inactive status in the guild is due to work with the horde side ties I'm trying to build, and can easily contact me if anything at all were to happen during my time between factions. For all members current standing, we seek to give the best of both factions, be it RP-PVP or RP-PVE. I am heavily involved with RP of any kind, but I like to involve everyone however I am able

So here goes some tips for the new officers and members on recruiting for our family and how to make it grow to a prosperous guild without dragging along drama in tow.

1. Always make certain the player is interested in the guild basis. We are family first, guardians and blackguard members second. Keep a polite persona when possible to fellow players in OOC, the more friendly welcoming nature the better. This encourages others to approach and interact with all of us, and it's always good to give a hand to another player of the same faction, hell even the opposing faction if they do not pose a threat. (I.e. not flagged and taunting like a fool.)

2. Bring friends that are interested to events, be it ours, or our allies. Roleplaying is a group effort, and playing alone is never fun in a game world as big as ours is.

3. Make sure that the person you are recruiting is well versed in english and recognizes their grammatical errors. (Handicapped are an exception in this tip, I'm sure we all know at least one or two people that have trouble with grammar due to mental disabilities. Respect them for trying and encourage them to keep trying if anything.)

4. Guild history checks; yall know what I mean by this. There are always going to be some asshole coming along to try and flub things up for everyone else. We do not want or need that kind of reputation rubbing off on us, we are quality not quantity, and allowing players from either guild to join is a sign of desperation. Avoidance guilds are blacklisted for good reason, being part of them for "perks" is not always the best answer to associate with those kinds of players.

5. Rewarding; Contributions to the guild in leveling, and donations to the bank will be subsequently rewarded in kind. An example is weekly contributions to the guild level, top contributor can be gifted rewards from members, or from the council. Another example is the guild banking system. Donating funds allows us leeway to expand our storage space and offer a higher allowance to the rest of the guild-trusted for repairs and later on, funds to train skills and mount purchases.

6. Give and Take. To each of us, we choose different professions, it's these professions we work together to benifit from. Alchemy and Blacksmithing both are in high demand and supplies are always desired for the best crafted items to be made. Helping stock the bank with supplies and ensuring we have the stock to craft fine sets to sell to the public, or to give to members freshly ready for heroic attempts, is always a good thing. Don't be afraid to donate a little bit of your daily gathering attempts, that little bit can go a long way.

7. Cooperation. Working with others often entails cooperating with those we do and don't like. If the player is someone you don't like or find annoying, don't be afraid to outright ignore them. Less drama for everyone to avoid conflicts before they happen. If you feel the player you are aspiring to bring would be obtrusive or has annoying behavior, don't bring them to the guild.

8. Last but not least, selflessness. Being helpful often requires a bit of time out of our normal tasks in a day. If someone requests help and you are obligated to a meeting with us, or an event, just let us know - we might chip in to help too! This goes especially to our 85's in the guild. Geared or ungeared, each of you make a difference in how others see us, remember this. Treat them as you wish to be.

PVE/PVE - We don't push for either, but are gladly accepting of progress on all counts. Right now we are under going some heavy heavy rebuilding, so if you see something that needs work, speak up! Others might help.
Guild Events - If you plan one, please make sure to pick a time that suits for everyone or at least the majority. That means you admin over it, D&D die games as well as character development story events are always welcome too. The more the merrier!
Meetings do require attendance, if you cannot attend, please mark tentative at least to let us know you have seen the notice about the date.

ANY guilds of horde or alliance that has been reported to be griefing public RP, harassing fellow players, or just flat out stupidity are welcome to be added to the avoidance list.

Avoidance List:
Is Your Hearts Desire / Camelot
Stormwind Defense
The Ishuran Legacy
Legacy of Vanndar
Tal Shanthalas
Mythical
Pack of Wolves
Stormwind City
Moon Guard Public School
Ribs
Shadows of the Betrayed
WTB Epic Hogger
Imaginary Friends
Highrollers
Pokemon
Erøtica
Close Friends
The Blades of Greymane
Nljayian
Goldshire Defense Force
Pleasure
Knights of the MOIST
Feral Minx
Girl with Boy
Carebears From Mars
The Carebears
Critter Kill Squad

The avoidance list consists of guilds that have actively trolled or greifed fellow roleplayers and have guild leaders that do little to nothing to improve the community or their guild for that matter. Basically, lazy guild leaders with bad leadership and even worse attention spans. I would recommend if you encounter any of these and they are persistently bothering you with anything that breaks the TOS and TOU, start quoting from it in order to spook them off from continuing to harass. Harassment is part of the TOU and TOS restrictions against fellow players, and the realm policies also will be useful to put them on a spot if they persist to push buttons.
